LET IT BREATH: It takes 4-6 hours for the memory foam to expand 90% and it could take another 4-6 hours to get close to full expansion, especially if it’s cold outside – memory foam likes warm, indoor temperatures. It is recommended to wait 24 hours before sitting on it, but don’t worry if you can’t. The memory foam softens during this time at which point the item is no longer firm or uncomfortable to sit on.
